slat chair

This chair looks fragile, nonetheless it’s strong enough to use. The chair is built out of ordinary spruce slats. Normally these slats will not be used for constructive purposes, however, here the slats are organized in such a way that they can carry the weight of a person, resulting in an extremely lightweight, yet sturdy chair.

Because of the untraditional combination of material and technique, each chair is made completely by hand, which accounts for its elegent and detailed design.
